Frontline Merges with NorthShore

NorthShore Health Centers and Frontline Foundations have joined forces to offer a solution that combines medical treatment along with addiction counseling to help attack this deadly disease.

NorthShore Health Centers and Frontline Foundations Merger

NorthShore Health Center and Frontline Foundations have the same mission and values when it comes to providing access and quality healthcare to the communities we serve. Therefore, we are merging under the NorthShore Health Centers name in an effort to expand access to medical and addiction counseling services in Northwest Indiana. NorthShore providers along with the Frontline counselors can offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) which is the use of medications along with counseling to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of
substance use disorders.

What is the Frontline Program?

The Frontline Foundations Program offers vital support for those with addictions through peer group sessions, art & music recovery programs, and individual treatment plans facilitated by professional mental health counselors and program coordinators.

What is VIVITROL®?

One medication that maybe offered in addition to counseling is VIVITROL® which is a non-addictive, once-monthly injectable medication, used for the treatment of opioid and alcohol dependence. When used as part of a treatment plan that includes counseling, VIVITROL® can help prevent relapse to opioid dependence after detox.

How Do I Start?

Patients can see a NorthShore provider at any of our medical locations to receive medical services and medications needed to cope with substance abuse and be referred to the Frontline Program for counseling services
